I am fascinated by the use of a blog. Well my coursework should be about people in my life. Although I think I’ve narrowed it down to things in the past, which I no longer connect to. (Thus the image is like a link that I treasure, even though essentially it’s a piece of paper.)
This image doesn’t show people whom I am no longer in contact with, but they are people I treasure all the same. They’re awfully cute and cuddly now, wonder how long it’ll last. (Then I can categorize it under thing’s I’ve lost see?)
It works! Sketch of my cute cousins. Not sure if this counts under 2-D, ‘cos I drew Alexis last year october, before the e-portfolio was announced, but I did do Marc pretty recently and sometimes I still flip to the page to tweak it here and there.
Sketch. 1-2 hours? Colourpencil. Did the whole thing from scratch with colour pencil, so my working lines can still be seen…. and all the scanner does is emphasize them. Worked from a photo, I think it’s impossible to keep them sitting too long and I can only draw people from images, not if their posing.. yet, I hope.
Aunty A. would be proud to note people have called them ‘charming’ and ‘cute’ before. ^ ^ Marc’s actually the one who uses ‘sammyhammy’… although it was my sister who started it… I think it’s pretty cute. ^ ^
